On 23 and 24 June 2026, we were pleased to welcome around 40 participants to our specialist seminar “CHP & Hybrid Systems” in the historic setting of the Neues Schloss Kißlegg.
In the new eB series, edel combines the best of 30 years of CHP experience.
The latest generation combines high efficiencies, with electrical efficiencies of 36–40%, with our proven reliability. During development, particular attention was paid to accessibility and ease of maintenance. This helps minimise operating costs and downtime.
Find out here how our partners MAMotec Gasmotoren GmbH and ComAp GmbH contributed to the development.
The series is also H₂-ready. The modules can be converted to hydrogen operation as soon as it becomes available.
The certification confirms that the eB series meets one of the strictest grid connection regulations in the world, underlining the robustness of our systems.
With our in-house developed remote maintenance solution edelPlus, operators can keep an eye on their CHP units at all times, while meeting the highest IT security requirements.
The CHP product configurator supports our customers in selecting the right solution for their application.
From 1 January to 15 February 2025, the state of Baden-Württemberg is funding the installation or renewal of emergency power systems in fire stations with grants of up to €40,000. A funding application must be submitted by 15 February.
For more than 40 years, edel Energietechnik has been building, installing and maintaining emergency power systems that comply with the recommendations of the “Emergency Power Systems for Fire Stations” working group. Our systems are referenced in its guideline.

edel Energietechnik GmbH is proud to be a long-standing partner of FC Bayern Munich. We value the cooperation with such a renowned club and are excited about the inspiring projects we realise together.
Why we are proud:
Long-standing partnership. A strong and trusting cooperation with one of the most successful football clubs in the world.

A big thank you to FC Bayern Munich for their trust and excellent cooperation!
Edel Energietechnik, the Rotary Club Friedrichshafen and Medizin Campus Bodensee are supporting the Ukrainian “Center for Social Services” in the province of Dnipropetrovsk with an emergency generator.
The social welfare facility, located around 500 kilometres southeast of Kyiv, supports around 900 people in peacetime – senior citizens, people with disabilities and people in difficult life situations. Since the start of the war, this number has increased significantly. The most vulnerable members of society in particular depend on facilities like this.
The 250 kVA emergency generator ensures that a secure power supply is guaranteed at all times. The switchgear automatically detects power failures and gives the generator the start command to supply the building. It also transfers the power supply back to the grid when grid power returns.
Digital, innovative, modern – these are criteria that attractive employers need to meet today. Fortunately, this applies to us.
For this, we were awarded the “Employer of the Future” seal by the German Innovation Institute. At the Entrepreneurs’ Day in Essen on 6 September, the seal was personally presented to us by patron Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister of Justice and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs.
We are very pleased about this award. It confirms that we are setting the right course for the future.
Getting students excited about energy technology is a special priority for edel Energietechnik. We are convinced that the energy transition brings many opportunities.
To achieve this, we need bright minds – and above all enthusiasm among the next generation of skilled professionals. That is why we are committed to supporting our local educational institutions.
Recently, we had the opportunity to teach the 8th and 9th grade technology groups at Realschule Kißlegg about energy technology. On this occasion, we presented the students with a renewable energy construction kit.
In this way, we hope to help inspire the next generation for the important and exciting topic of sustainable energy solutions.
