New Generation CHP Systems complies with German Grid Code
In the new eB series, edel combines the best from 30 years of CHP (combined heat and power) experience.
The latest generation unites high electrical efficiencies (36–40%) with our proven reliability. Particular attention was paid during development to accessibility and ease of maintenance. This minimizes operating costs and downtime.

The series is also H₂-ready. The modules can be converted to hydrogen operation as soon as it becomes available.

Funds for emergency power for fire departments in Baden-Württemberg
From January 1 to February 15, 2025, the state of Baden-Württemberg will provide funding of up to €40,000 for the construction or renewal of emergency power systems in fire stations.
A funding application must be submitted by February 15th.
For over 40 years, edel Energietechnik has been building, installing, and maintaining emergency power systems that comply with the recommendations of the "Emergency Power Systems for Fire Stations" working group. Our systems are referenced in this guide.

Emergency Power for Social Institution
Support for Ukraine
Edel Energietechnik, the Rotary Club of Friedrichshafen, and the Bodensee Medical Campus are supporting the Ukrainian Center for Social Services in the Dnipropetrovsk Province with an emergency generator.
This social welfare organization, located 500 kilometers southeast of Kyiv, cares for around 900 people in peacetime – seniors, people with disabilities, and those in difficult life situations. Since the beginning of the war, the number has increased considerably. The most vulnerable members of society, in particular, rely on facilities like these.
The 250 kVA emergency generator ensures a reliable power supply at all times. The controls automatically detect power outages and sends the command to start the generator, supplying the building with power. It also transfers power back to the grid when it returns.

Digital, innovative, modern – these are criteria that attractive employers must meet today. Fortunately, this applies to us.
For this, we were awarded the "Employer of the Future" award by the German Innovation Institute. At the Entrepreneurs' Day in Essen on September 6th, the seal was personally presented to us by patron Brigitte Zypries – former Federal Minister of Justice and Federal Minister of Economics.
We are delighted to receive this award. It confirms that we are setting the right course for the future.
Getting students exctied about energy
edel donates to the Realschule Kißlegg
Getting students excited about energy technology is a top priority for edel Energietechnik. We are convinced that the energy transition offers many opportunities.
To achieve this, we need bright minds, but above all, enthusiasm in our young skilled workers. That's why we are involved in our local educational institutions.
Recently, we had the opportunity to teach the 8th and 9th graders in the technology groups at Kißlegg Secondary School about energy technology. On this occasion, we presented the students with a renewable energy kit.
We hope to help inspire the next generation about the important and exciting topic of sustainable energy solutions.
